Endless, a silent whisper by Urbandub
The song seems to put me in a trance every time its gripping lead guitar riff starts to tickle my ears. Then it is followed by an unbelievably seductive bass sequence delivered by a kick-ass chick, who makes it powerful, in my opinion. The drums are in, and everything—the lead guitar, the bass, the drums—seems to be making love to one another, as they create a hypnotizing blend only Urbandub can produce. When Gabby starts singing, he puts so much emotion in the song that it becomes difficult for someone not to feel attached to the song immediately. I close my eyes and savor the lyrics momentarily…
The night belongs to us… We’re caught in a world of our own… I heard the news today… Is this the beginning of our last dance? I feel… the thrill… of words we say… I love you… Hold me in closer don’t let go of me…
There is a tiny hint of reggae in it, subtly making it more special than it already is. Only enough to notice the awesome transition to a yet another love-making of the lead guitars, bass, and drums.
Every word, with every riff, and every drum-and-bass combo speaks a unified language. They all go together, nothing overdone. Not a guitar riff showing off, no distracting drum solo, the sound of bass guitar melodiously guiding the song to its final note.
Just perfect. Urbandub does it again.
